Founded in 1980, the National Black MBA Association® Atlanta Chapter is one of the most active, influential, and award-winning chapters in the nation. With a thriving network of over 1,300 members including MBA students, alumni, entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, and professionals across industries, we serve as a dynamic hub for connection, career advancement, and Black excellence across Greater Atlanta.

Membership is open to MBA students and graduates, individuals with other advanced degrees, and business professionals and entrepreneurs who meet select criteria.

Through strategic partnerships with corporations, civic organizations, and industry leaders, the Atlanta Chapter offers innovative programming that fuels career growth, leadership development, mentorship, entrepreneurship, and meaningful networking. These initiatives strengthen our members, our partners, and the broader community.

Career Network

Designed to empower your professional journey, Career Network helps members secure employment, strengthen skills, and expand connections through: Mentorship, Career Coaching, Resume Review, Inside Looks, and the Professional Development Symposium (PDS).

Leaders of Tomorrow

The LOT® Program is the National Black MBA Association’s flagship initiative for high school students, designed to cultivate the next generation of culturally aware, academically excellent, and globally competitive leaders.

Scholarship Program

Each year, the NBMBAA Atlanta chapter awards scholarships to exceptional business majors attending an accredited college or university within Metro Atlanta.  

Career Accelerator Academy

A structured career-development cohort offering curated training, executive coaching, and hands-on career strategy to help professionals advance, pivot, or elevate their career journey.

Leadership Institute

A premier leadership-development experience focused on executive presence, strategic thinking, and preparing high-potential talent for senior-level opportunities.

Wealth Building Series

Programs focused on financial empowerment, including investing fundamentals, wealth strategy, generational wealth planning, and expert-led financial workshops.

Health & Wellness Series

Ongoing programming supporting mental, physical, and emotional wellness, including fitness events, health education, stress-management sessions, and community wellness partnerships.
