The San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) is a volunteer-led, Black-led professional organization serving Northern California—including the Greater Bay Area and the Sacramento region. Founded in Oakland in 1979, our chapter exists to strengthen leadership pipelines, expand economic opportunity, and build a thriving community for Black professionals, entrepreneurs, and students.
We create high-impact spaces where members can grow their careers, expand networks, access mentors, and build toward long-term leadership and wealth-building outcomes. Through intentional programming, partnerships, and community investment, we develop leaders who are equipped to influence industries, institutions, and communities.
